Storybook & Movement (2 hours, $250) Learn to integrate literacy with healthy movement through the use of contemporary picture books. Very inspiring! No yoga experience necessary.
Yoga for Classroom Transitions (2 hours, $250) Learn how to take the “admonitions” out of your most challenging transitions by using simple yoga-based activities combined with familiar nursery rhymes. No yoga experience necessary.
Puppetry & Storytelling for Creative Movement (2 hours, $250) Learn how to “move” children through stories by engaging their active imaginations. Put several puppet-based stories in your “tool-bag” to use in the classroom. No yoga experience necessary.
Building Community Through Yoga (2 hours, $250) Learn yoga-based partner sequences and “creative input” poses to make your classroom a more interactive environment. No yoga experience necessary.
HALF-DAY CLASSROOM YOGA TRAINING ($395)
This 3½-4 hour training is chock-full of yoga-based creative movement and breathing activities to use for transitions and circle time. Learn best practices for inspiring young children with creative themes, props, stories and songs. Includes a 20+ page handbook. Basic yoga poses are integrated into the training, and no yoga experience is necessary.
FULL-DAY TRAINING ($595) (Available in two ½ day sessions or as a full-day in-service.) During this refreshing, playful in-school retreat, teachers will learn and practice a comprehensive, dependable structure for yoga-based movement that works beautifully with children. Includes a handbook with oodles of resources, creative theme ideas and ready-to-teach activities. Participants learn best practices that apply to the entire preschool teaching experience, including: transitions & classroom management, literacy & movement, techniques for creating calm, and learning readiness activities.
